The Iskashitaa Refugee Network is an inter-generational network made up of Tucson volunteers and refugees from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The network teaches the community about sustainable food through its food-based programming. Every year the Iskashitaa Refugee Network identifies and redistributes over 50 tons of produce to under-served families throughout southern Arizona.
Refugee Focus is located in both Tucson & Phoenix, Arizona. Refugee Focus assists refugees with employment services such as resume writing, job applications, & interviews. Refugee Focus also offers refugees furnished housing, English Language training, & self sufficiency skills such as: cultural orientation, transit orientation, financial literacy, nutrition & cooking, health & wellness, safety, and technology orientation. Refugee Focus is a program of Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest.

Services include English classes, cultural orientation, housing, assistance, home furnishings, immigration services, health and wellness, women’s and children’s services, youth services, employment services, and tutoring.
Southern Arizona Legal Aid provides immigration assistance to refugees, asylum seekers, permanent residents, and undocumented persons, especially those who have been victims of violent crimes and those with disabilities.
The Tucson Refugee Ministry partners with a local church group and a resettlement agency to embrace a refugee family for 3 months. The Ministry also provides new arrival care packages filled with essential items for refugee families and offers volunteers training in the process of refugee resettlement.
