Five service centers offer programs uniquely designed to assist refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, and other vulnerable populations, helping them to become self-sufficient as quickly as possible. Center programs are also tailored to meet the needs of the host communities as they welcome these new neighbors, including resettlement services, economic empowerment, English language programs, immigration and legal services, survivors of trafficking empowerment, community wellness, medical case management, social adjustment services. Programs for minors include unaccompanied children, refugee youth program, and Central American minors. Site includes information and resources for unaccompanied minors. RST employs the use of a refugee management system to proactively meet the needs of its clients. Locations in Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston.

Freedom House

Provides free support to those seeking asylum in the U.S. and Canada. Services include housing, food, clothing, legal aid, medical care, mental health care, English as a Second Language classes, education, job training, recreation, transportation, and offsite housing after asylum is gained. Thrive: A Refugee Support Program

Provides free support for refugees in and around Western Michigan. Services include mentorship, language and citizenship classes, and assistance with the Department of Human Services, finances, education, and more. Located in Grand Rapids, MI; hours and contact information listed on website.

Pennsylvania Refugee Resettlement Program

The mission of the Refugee Resettlement Program is to help refugees and their families obtain employment, economic self-sufficiency and social integration within the shortest possible time after their arrival into Pennsylvania. The program provides a continuum of employment, educational, case management, health and financial support services to newly arrived refugees. Web pages can be translated into multiple languages.

Maine Access Immigrant Network (MAIN)

MAIN’s community health workers offer health and social services for immigrants and refugees in Portland, Maine. Team members assist immigrants and refugees in understanding and applying for health insurance, learn about health and wellness to avoid or support chronic conditions, and referral to community partners for housing and other services. There are monthly Healthy You workshops about chronic disease and preventative health education. Services are provided in English, Arabic, Somali, and French.

Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) serves the holistic needs of immigrants, refugees, and mainstream community members in Oregon and SW Washington. As a community-based organization, we empower children, youth, families and elders from around the world to build new lives and become self-sufficient by providing more than 150 culturally and linguistically specific social services. Services include employment and training, case management, tutoring and mentoring, language services, community development, senior services, and more.

Samaritas

Samaritas offers housing placement, medical case management, English classes, school enrollment, employment services, and counseling for issues including torture. The organization also connects unaccompanied refugee minors with foster and host families. Samaritas also provides a repatriation program, assisting with reception, housing placement, financial assistance, food, transportation, referral to medical/psychiatric evaluation, treatment.
