Reports, data, and information available through government agencies. Most of this is US Federal but we are also looking for state, local, and international resources as well.
Proposed Refugee Admissions for Fiscal Year 2017 – State Department Document
Comprehensive Govt Report detailing the expected arrivals of refugees, analysis of their countries of origin, and looking at the expected impacts of their entry into the United States. Dry reading but incredibly comprehensive and very much the official line.
Proposed Refugee Admissions for Fiscal Year 2016 – State Department Document
An earlier version of the document above. It is interesting to compare the two side by side to see growth of need. These reports were both created by the Federal Govt under President Obama. It will be interesting to see possible changes (or if the reports are even done) under the new holder of that office.
Refugee Processing Center
Excellent and accessible webpage of resources. It has an excellent list of Community Consultation Best Practice reports which can be used to model refugee services in every community.
Office of Refugee Resettlement
